Campground History

This campground was formerly Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park. It was also known as the Balloon Port in early years. The park was built in the late 70’s and has enjoyed many additions over the years.

In September of 2013, Craig and I purchased the RV Resort from the Carlson’s. We had been living in Riverton, UT. Craig is a retired police officer, who then went on to sell software. I managed an office for over 11 years. Craig spent most of his youth in Tooele so he is somewhat used to small town living. The closest I got to a small town was 2 years at Dixie College in St George.

Craig's daughter Dondi, and granddaughter Keeley also help us run the campground. They have been a great help to us. Keeley, of course, thinks she is in charge as any child would.

We are continually trying to make improvements and always have a long list of things to accomplish.
